Does it still work the correct way?

PDC?

haven't tested it... why does your not work? are there supposed to be any visual pop ups or audio alerts on the new ipc?

Great Job Dan, it's really the newest firmware on the cluster. The trip computer is changed in this version as well.
GS7T-14C026_AJD Firmware IPC.jpg
In the meanwhile i figured my update problem out....

The 2013 MKZ (and presumably also the 2014 MKZ) IPC has an smaller main processor on board. The SPC5604 used in the 2013 MKZ cluster has 512kB flash rom, the newer boards have an SPC5606 wit 1MB flash....
Thats the reason why i get errors when flashing a 1 MB vbf file on a 512kB flash memory....

Looks good... did you flash the GS7T version I posted?

I figured something like that was going on with the MKZ cluster... probably the same thing with the DS7T Mondeo cluster, has smaller flash and that is most likely why it isn't updated anymore with better graphics or options.

I am curious since you are messing with a MKZ cluster on Mondeo... does it default to MPH every startup or does it keep your preference of KM stored? Not sure if this is stored in EEPROM or if it is As-Built Data controlled.

I attached two photo's of the MKZ cluster with an american and an german eeprom content in it. You can clearly see that the mph versus km as well as C---H versus 60..120 and E...F versus 0...1 is controlled by the eeprom

Dododude is having a problem after updating the IPC, the sound of the PDC only comes out of the IPC and not out of the speakers any longer, I guess he already wrote this on 2gfusions as well, I guess with the name Vincenten

On my current Fusion cluster only my rear comes out the speakers. Front comes out IPC. Not sure on my conversion cluster but it is firmware controlled. . Unless he modified the chime bit in the first line of as built code.

He said everything is OK in the hexcode, bits are all ok.

I wonder...

Do you know what Electric Brake ECE Configuration, LFR ECE Configuration 1, and LFR DTE Values do?

Wondering if there are As-Built Bits that control the low fuel warnings and change the gauge to yellow or red when low and extremely low.

There is even no red LED for temperatures below zero...

On the Focus II I had a orange and a red ice crystal, on the Mondeo only an orange road with an ice crystal

Do you know which bit changes the trip computer to the 4 quadrants? Mine doesn't show like that.

Hey Dan,

no idea yet. I took the picture from a brand new car advertisement and thought it must be a common feature of the new firmware....

Flashed today the GS7T-14C026-AJD firmware and the trip computer shows the 4 quadrants...
