Hi guys,
i'm new here.
I had before fusion US 2014 with sync 2.
I made update for sync 2 and activate navigation ( because a don'i have it)
Now i have escape 2016 with sync 3, and i don't navi icon and eu language.
1. is it possible to update to eu version ?
2. is it possible to activate navigation and add maps to system?

1. Yes it is possible but it is not a copy/paste to USB and plug-in work.
2. Without soldering impossible.

1. Yes no problem .
2. Yes it is possible without soldering . We can do that . All working via USB stick .All maps are read from USB.
But I must have this car to do that.

I'm in desperate need of some help therefore I'm here on this forum with all the necessary knowledge

I have a Mondeo MK5 from 08.2017 w Sync3. I'm being stuck with v3.0 build 17307 and unable to upgrade it to build 18025 or even downgrade it to 2.3. Does any of U guys have any ideas on what to do?
I keep getting the message at the end of the update process: " Your software version is already up to date, pls disconnnect USB Sync will restart automatically"

No matter if it's a v3.0 b18025 or a v2.3 build 17109 or anything the message is the same.

did you download the update package from this location?

SYNC3_3.0.18025_WF0VXXGCEVHJ12972.zip

Unzip it on the PenDrive USB and do the update.

In the PenDrive you have to see this content:

SyncMyRide (Folder)
autoinstall.lst (File)
DONTINDX.MSA (File)

At the end of the update you have to turn off the Sync3 completely and wait 1 minute after it is turned off.
When turned on you should see an update notice completed.

have tried at least 3 times already, last time it was the download link you've given to us. No luck

As I've mentioned I have v3.0 b17307 running on my Sync3 and if I can remember well I had v2.3 factory fitted. Then I've found somewhere an update surfing the internet maybe on the mustang site and I've upgraded it unofficially. It went like a charm, managed to succesfully upgrade it at first try.

But since then it just simply doesn't seem to "allow" me to any direction, neither upwards with b18025 nor downwards with v2.3

That's what's kinda strange to me, that it keeps running the update, telling me software update in progress then a screen with "pls remove usb, sync will restart automatically, your software is already up to date no update needed" or sg like that.

But I will give it another try.

Or do you think I shall go further back to v2.2? Will it be succesful?

I DiamondDear, i've upgraded my Focus 2017 using the SW obtained from ford.co.uk that you have in your links to SYNC3_3.0.18025 sucessfull.

Do you know if maps are upgradable ? I still have EU 4 15 (I'm from Portugal) , which was the version in stock 2.2.

Any chance that this is upgradable or it's vendor locked ?

I got problem when update MAP data with SIGN_ERR01 message.
Anybody know what's wrong of this message??
