Hi Guys,

Is it possible to retrofit a used satnav unit from a wrecked car?

Is it as simple as pluging in the screen, radio and gps antenna and changing the asbuilt data?

Maybe also possible on other Fords like Fiesta MK7?

Yes, i have just done it.
Plug and play.

You may need to add Nav Audio Out wires from screen to radio ( i did )....

Screen Pin 6 to radio pin 4 (plug C1)
Screen Pin 12 to radio pin 5 (Plug C1)

Doesnt sound to hard.

I was worried it was locked to the vin number of the car.

No such locking in Ford!!
