Hi, I have installed a TCU Ford connect modem to my 2015 Mondeo Mk5.
My car was upgraded from Sync 2 to Sync 3 and at that time I changed the GWM to a 2017 version that included the extra address for the PAM.
I have now added a brand new GWM from a 2020 Mondeo that adds HS4 can network and adds another 4 new addresses.
Everything is working ok, I have hotspot and live traffic updates and I can open/close/start my car from my phone now too.
I have one issue though.
Upon installing the new GWM I get a DTC in the BCMii saying it’s lost communication with the radio. If I reinstall the 2017 GWM the DTC disappears.
I have loaded my as built files onto the GWM and I have also tried ab from a 2020 mondeo, but the DTC is still there.
Not sure if it’s a firmware issue or software, and is it a problem with the BCMii, ACM or ??
Any help would be appreciated.
