Buying new TCU (Telematics Control Unit) for Ford Everest 2016 with Sync3

Hi friends,

I have a Ford Everest (2016) with Sync 3.

I am planning to add a TCU which I plan to buy from the dealer.

Will the TCU be automatically detected once I connect the TCU to the HS CAN?

Any activation needs to be done?

Please share some guidance.
